I am new here and really struggling with depression.
I had a mild case of Covid about 2 months ago. Since then Ive developed anxiety, depression, and brain fog. Everyday activities are now extremely hard to do. I had to take a leave of absence from work because I couldn’t do my job anymore. Driving and going into stores gives me extreme anxiety to the point that I don’t want to leave my house. When I’m at home I have really bad depression and can’t get motivated to do much of anything.

Hi, I had Covid this past March. Even though I was given monoclonal antibodies right away I was still very sick. It took about two months to start feeling better. During that time I also developed severe anxiety and depression. I also had Covid induced delerium ! I know some people who the effects are very long lasting. Perhaps you should contact your doctor if you haven’t already. Thinking of and praying for you.
what if you start looking at this as long COVID? There is information out there and the vast majority do get better. It might be motivating to know others have faced the same thing. My fear for you is that acting as if it is depression causes you to impede recovery when it isn’t necessary. (There is actually evidence of this phenomenon)
