So happy to have found this group. I am in a very bad way with crippling anxiety and can barely leave the house it’s become that bad, difficultly doing most things and barely trying to hold my job down which if I lost we would be on the street.
I’m on 100mg of Zooloft but it doesn’t seem to work anymore as I drink heavily also 😠I’m hoping to start therapy again this week. So over this and waking during the night, then the sweats , trembling just overall it’s so crippling.
Has anyone please got any tips to help? videos? anything at all to help? x
Thank you

Hi Gabriella- I'd like to Welcome you to this safe and caring site.
I will say that I am concerned for you in mixing your Zoloft with heavy drinking.
SSRIs can lose it's efficacy or more seriously present with other symptoms of distress.
There was a time that I suffered greatly from overwhelming Anxiety that eventually
went into 5 years of Agoraphobia. That is no way to live trapped in your own home,
experiencing fear of both the ourdoors as well as indoors. Sweating, Trembling because
the Adrenaline never fully goes down.
You end up staying in an endless state of panic where both your mind and body wear down.
That's in my past. I am now here to pass my success forward in helping others like yourself
gain back control of their lives once more. Therapy is all important when you get to this stage. I'm happy you will be starting it soon. Medication can help give you that break that
you need until you find other tools to gain back control.
This forum is about helping each other through our own personal experiences with mental
health. Once you start interacting with others, you won't feel so alone and you will get
some ideas as to what worked for some. I'm happy you are here with us. You've taken
