we watched a kitten for a friend for a few days, hoping we might adopt her. But my daughter's allergies were too bad. Still we had a very sweet time with our intrepid explorer.

My daughter is in anguish because BTS is going on hiatus. Her friends are kidding her about it, but she told us privately that being so immersed in them helps her avoid thinking about wanting to hurt herself. We let her stay home from school the next day and she and I had a couple teary heartfelt discussions on the couch. As long as she can have teary heartfelt discussions about it, I think she'll be alright.

Hi, I was feeling rather sorry for myself last week because of chronic pain etc, then I watched a documentary about a rugby y player, ROB BURROWwho has MND, motor neurone disease , he is only just 40 and unable to speak , walk or do anything for himself, the documentary showed him and his family his wife who is an Angel and three beautiful little children , and how they all cope with this devastating disease, I urge everyone to watch this , my OH who is a 6ft 5 and a former rugby player was reduced to tears, it’s probably on U tube , it will put things into perspective.

I felt the same way as you when I ran across a video of a woman born without arms and she’s amazing uses her feet to brush her teeth do dishes etc and she’s a ballerina. Put in perspective what I’m actually capable of even during really hard times.

ok so I have lived without a dryer for 20 days and finally I had a new one installed I am so relieved 😅 I love dryers like I’ve never loved before

I love this film. It contains so much pain and horror, as much of life does. It takes us somewhere very dark.

Red (the man you see) tells Andy that, where they live, hope can be a dangerous thing. Here, Red finds hope within himself for the first time. Andy's strength and tenacity inspire him. His journey to find his friend culminates: "I hope."

I learn, watching this film, we are not alone in our feelings. We touch people in ways we may never know. We can bear what we have to, by being strong. We can find hope.

Sometimes bad things can be good on the flip side. I don't like the cold weather, or the isolation it brings. But today, with the weather in the low 40s, I can get refrigerator things at the grocery, and leave them in the car.

So true and we learn from the seemingly bad too. Good job in finding the positive. I love winter personally. I like the isolation sometimes.
