Mine is Seasons End by Marillion...I have listened to it at least 5 times every week since 1989.
Whats your all time favourite song? - Anxiety and Depre...
Whats your all time favourite song?
can’t pick a favorite. This is my current dance by yourself lineup.
Good song. REM was a great band. I like their song Losing My Religion too.
I used to listen to REM a lot in the 90's. I loved Losing my Religion.
I like a lot of different kinds of music!!! I guess if I were to narrow it down to one song it would be Open Your Heart by Madonna. I live in Michigan and I was very influenced by her and her music growing up.
Here’s Madonna doing her thing. She looks so different now!!! youtu.be/snsTmi9N9Gs
I like her too, she changed music for a lot of people.
Yes, I think it’s unfair with some of the negative criticism she gets. I think she’s amazing. I’ve seen her live in concert twice, and she had everyone on their feet applauding her. She knows how to put on a great show!!!
Lucky you, id like to see her..
Yes she is criticised and deosnt deserve it, but i think its a minority of people that do it.
Tough choice but I would say it’s a tie between “Groove is in the Heart” by Dee-Lite and “Break my Stride” by Matthew Wilder. So mad Starbucks tried to make a cute commercial with that song and ruined it :/
I loved that band Dee Lite!!! I used to have their album World Clique that the song Groove Is In The Heart is from. Very upbeat and positive music there.
i love the song Sherrie by steve Perry 🙂
I can’t choose, but this is a pretty song if you’re into pretty today.
Thats really nice, my mum liked her.
One of my favorites is "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and The News (1985) It was in the movIe Back to the Future.
Great song!!! I like a lot of songs by Huey Lewis and the News. I have the CD of their album Sports.
I remember it, a very good song.
I’m going to put one on here some of the older people might enjoy. My Mom loves Elvis Presley. She likes a lot of songs by him. I can understand why. So here’s a sweet song. This is Love Me Tender, and this is Elvis on the Ed Sullivan youtu.be/qwlrUUyxg9c
Love! Thanks, G. If the music is good, it can live forever.
Yes. I recently saw the movie they made about Elvis with my Mom. My Mom really thought it was well done. She also likes the song Are You Lonesome Tonight. It seems like such a diffferent time back then than it is now.
what did you think of the movie?
It was very interesting. Tom Hanks played Elvis’s manager and it really shows how he manipulated Elvis and how towards the end Elvis was caught in some kind of trap financially by him. And it shows Pricilla and how she decided to divorce him. It’s a good movie for those of us who don’t remember Elvis that well, but of course my Mom does. I believe when Elvis died I was only about 8 years old or something like that. The young actor Austin Butler did a good job playing him. Have you seen the movie? If you haven’t, go see it, it’s really good!!!
I haven’t seen the movie, but I will. I’ve read about the history of how Elvis was manipulated and I’m eager to see how it was transferred to on screen. Tom Hanks gives it credibility. His movies usually have a moral to the story and Elvis wasn’t just a pretty face with a talent.
It was very good and I bet either Tom Hanks orAustin Butler could get nominated for Academy Awards from it. My Mom actually decided to see it twice. I think it might already be out on DVD and streaming now.
It’s that good…and maybe out on DVD? I’ll be keeping an eye out and an ear on the ground. 👍🏼
I found it at my library with a long waiting list.
My library lacks a lot, but I’ll check anyway. Thanks for the heads up. Good to see you out and about.
Don't forget Hoopla.
Hoopla? As in get down on it?
You've lost me. Sounds like a disco lyric?
Search "Hoopla". It's an online site that allows you, with your library account, to borrow film, audiobooks, and books.
I read where Priscilla and Lisa Marie sued Col Parker after Elvis died.
I never understood why people like Elvis, i had two friends that where Elvis impersonators, i dont like him at all.
Maybe i had to be there when he was doing his thing.
I thought about going to see the Elvis movie even though I've never been into his music, but because he changed music tremendously. It looked like a really good movie.
I was never into his music either but when I saw the movie trailer and saw Austin Butler on stage I deciced to go. I am glad I dId.. He was great to watch.
It was very well done. Go see it!!! It might be streaming online now.
See what you started MorningParade you got us all going with the music here!!! Since I happened to mention Carrie Underwood I’m going to post one more song and then I’m out of here. Don’t mean to dominate your post. Here’s a song by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, that puts me in a good mood. I love how in this music video they are two evil blondes out to rob a bank!!! I don’t happen to have blonde hair, but I want to join them. Here they are with their song, Something Bad. Please stand by…………….
So you are off out to rob a bank now! 😲
Music gets everyone talking, its a universal thing that most people love, you can dominate until your heart is content, as long as you are enjoying it all thats what matters.
Here they are!!! youtu.be/o4Yzj-m_SBk
That wasnt bad
Oh wait, I’m not sure if it was a bank, they just wanted to steal some fancy jewelry or something.🙂
Im not sure either now, but i have to say that i do like the motorcycles 🏍️😀
I have a lot of favorite songs! I cycle through different favorites at different times & moods. I love both classical & current music. I mostly listen to music at home with my Amazon Echo. Right now most mornings I ask her to play "Pachelbel Canon in D" It feels like a soft start to my morning.
It gets you ready for the day ahead 😊

I wish I could find the original soundtrack. I guess it's just gone.
Well, I decided to come back. I love music with a passion. I listen to a little bit of everything. I’m going to switch gears and post a more romantic song on here. I’m a big fan of Savage Garden and it’s lead singer, Darren Hayes. So hold on, please stand by……………
This is a very sweet, romantic song by Darren Hayes. There’s no music video to this. Here is Like It Or Not. youtu.be/6nMK3LHWCto
