Hi - hope I'm posting in the right place. Basically, I'm just looking for some general advice on how to use this site. I've never belonged to a remote support group and what I imagined was a bunch of zoom meetings, kind of like a remote AA. Obviously that's not the case, so what should I be doing to maximize the benefits of this group? If this doesn't belong here, I'd appreciate it if someone could pass it along to the right person. Thanks

This is a "message board site", (not zoom) but there are plenty of topics and questions that can be helpful. *see the top right hand corner to search for whatever topic that you are looking for)
Hi there Slacks, you have likely discovered the layout a little by now. Not much i can add to the descriptions already given.
Being anonymous allows you to pose any query you have and then it is a waiting game for other anonymous users to reach out and give their best effort to assist you. You are very unlikely to meet health workers that can give you professional advice, but there is no shortage of experienced members that have been there done that.
I am also new here in this group and just exploring things right now

Welcome to our the community. You are in a good place and I hope you find it helpful.
You can post your issues and get feedback. I look at is as a form of active journaling. Writing and receiving dialog from members.
It's also good to read a post that you can relate to and get involved with replies. Conversation builds on a topic and different coping strategies and thoughts are shared.
I'm glad you are here
