Absolutely I went from 40 to 50 in what felt like 2 years no BS it flys from 40 on. So looking back at my 30 years of anxiety about anything and everything, I took 30 quality years of my life. Now I’m 50 with real health problems I contribute to worrying. Anyway 8 I’m in bed watch YouTube till I fall asleep.

40 to 50 was bad for me too, i got most of my health problems between those to ages.

I was always very physically healthy and grateful for it. So for me it was around mid 50's that I was diagnosed with mild copd (lung disease). It didn't really start affecting me until past 60. My back also went then too and I now have spinal stenosis and use a mobility scooter.

Since then I have been collecting meds. 2 inhalers and 3 meds plus recently gabapentin and statins. I turned down folic acid and changed my diet a bit. I was also prescribed a very low dose of levythroxine for borderline thyroid issues but stopped that too as it didn't make any difference at all.

I was always fit and healthy, Im still fit but I struggle now to stay that way. I had some accidents that caused my problems plus some hereditary things.

Life goes on all the same.

Looks familiar lol. I go to bed around 9 pm , have done for over a year. I find if I don't, I fall asleep around 8.30 which disrupts my sleep later .

in reply toMadBunny

It doesn't take much to disrupt a sleeping pattern.

My natural body clock has always been as a late riser. But after a lifetime of work and having to get up early, when I retired I reverted back to it. I like to go to bed in the early hours and wake up around 11ish.

in reply tohypercat54

I'm usually an early riser, the odd time I'll sleep late. I prefer getting up early, if I sleep to long I stay tired.

I’m 52. I try to get up fairly early and go to bed by 10pm during the week but sometimes on Friday and Saturday I still like to stay up late. Kind of depends on what my plans are.
