Welcome! Ask your psychiatrist about the rash and go to the dermatologist about the hair thinning. Best to you. Don’t give up. Stay strong.
Have you had your thyroid checked, I think hair loss and mood disorder can be attributed to thyroid issues sometimes.
Yes, I am struggling with the same issues. I was also diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, which contributes to hair thinning. I just started using a new shampoo for thinning hair. It's helped a bit. But no luck with the treatment resistant depression. I am 61.
Hello!! I was diagnosed with anxiety in January of 2021 and understand what you are going through! I haven’t noticed hair thinning on my end, but I have noticed that very randomly I do get a rash and it’s almost like a heat rash and it is so uncomfortable. I hate that you have to go through this, I noticed mine is something that happens rarely so it’s just something I deal with by if yours happens all the time maybe it’s worth saying something over.
Are you taking Lamictal? There is a rash associated. This is something to tell your doctor.
Many good suggestions on here regarding your side effects. I was on meds for decades and became treatment resistant to them. My treatment of choice has become TMS at the recommendation of my therapist. It is transcranial magnetic stimulation, a noninvasive treatment using magnetic pulses on a part of the brain to relieve the symptoms of depression. Like any treatment results vary. I have had success with it. If interested in learning more, feel free to message me and/or talk to your doctor.
I never had any luck with antidepressants, and I tried 15-16 times. They have helped many though. Start every morning with the Wim Hof guided breathing exercises free on you tube. Get 40 minutes of cardio exercise daily. Take a cool shower or bath. And work your way colder at your pace . It resets the brain and releases chemicals we need.
