I’m new to this group. Thought it might be beneficial to talk to others that have the same issues as me :). I have had GAD and panic attacks for many, many years. Sometimes (like lately), it’s almost none stop. I wake up nervous! I’ve tried pretty much everything to “balance” myself. I was in Effexor for about 15 years and I decided that I wanted to try something more natural so I weaned off of it about 6 months ago. I was doing ok until about a month or two ago. All of my symptoms came back in full force. I finally went and purchased CBD gummies yesterday. It seemed to help yesterday, but not so much today. Anybody else using CBD to treat their anxiety disorder? If so, what dose and how often? Ironically, going to a doctor is a major trigger for me so I’d rather manage myself with over the counter items if I can.

CBD & Anxiety?
Hi and welcome to this community! I don't use CBD, but I am all about using natural products to manage anxiety. I use lavender and peppermint essential oils, I have a calm body oil by Dr. Hauschka, I use stress balls, and lately I've been trying Valerian root with some success.
Well I use cbd and thc me psyc gave me a med card to try it and see if it helps I use it maybe 1x a week I find at least in my experience that I can get in a deep meditation with it and focus on my problem however everyone has different experiences the problem with cbd and thc and other meds is you can build tolerances and have to increase doses you may want to try doing the amount you did one day and wait a day or 2 before you do again or try a higher amount but I would consult a doctor about it either way
I used it for sleep issues and even found a tincture for sleep with cbd and other herbs for sleep in it and it helped my sleep and anxiety. Unfortunately I later found out that cbd is bad for glaucoma which i have so i quit. You might try Valerian root and see if that helps.
