So I just added 10 mg onto my usual 40mg.
In the past it helped me with social anxiety. It’s hard to socialize again and I’ve been feeling a general fear so I’m hoping this increase will help.
Can anyone relate?

"Can anyone relate? "
About 20+ years ago, I had a major breakdown, and a serious med merry go round.
Back then I wasn't a big fan of going up on meds. Looking back, I really don't know if it was a personal stigma to it, or the sides itself, but I didn't like med increases. (again, that was back then)
Now? Honestly, I wouldn't mind if I could go up a little bit higher on my meds, (mainly talking about my Lexapro here) but I'm at the level that I can handle in terms of sides.
.
What I'm trying to say?
If this is going to help you out, and you can handle the sides of it, then let it help you out.
I’m glad Lexapro is at a good dose for you and sounds like you know what your limit when it comes to side effects.
Thank you. I’m giving it a shot. It helped immensely when I started out on it last summer like I went from being scared of people to loving to be around people but I did gain a lot of weight so I’ll be careful. It seems like it’s no longer working so increasing I’m thinking would help.
