I think I’m starting to get depressed
So sorry you’re feeling this way. Starrlight. I have been there many times and at my worst I try to be grateful, journal, talk to a close friend, tell myself I’ll come up out of this as I’ve done so many times before, meditate, listen to enlightening podcasts, breathe deep and tell yourself it’s ok.
I hope you know we all struggle at times and I’m here if you would like to chat. 💕😊
Thanks I guess I’m worried the brain fog will not end and I will be homeschooling this next year and I need to at some point prepare for it. I just quit drinking and I think this readjusting could end soon, hopefully.
Iam here for you friend remember it will pass we just have our days where we feel worse than others it’s ok you will get better

How about watching a relaxing nature video on Youtube (there's plenty of those out there), and being by an open window if you can, while watching the video?
The outside air would be good for you while watching the vid.
I loved AnxiousSilver's suggestion. I miss nature too, and find comfort in my pictures. Here's one for you from a favorite documentary.
I journal my worries and fears. Then I journal all the great stuff I did. I watch funny TikTok videos or sitcoms. Or read poetry to my dog 😂
Take care of yourself right now. Can you manage to step just outside your door without feeling overwhelmed? I sit or stand on the deck when I let the dog out. Even in the middle of winter. If that's too much can you look out the window or perhaps find nature photos or videos to look at? I'll send you one. Let me know if you want another. I know how important nature is to you.
You really get it. Right now it’s hard to go out but yes stepping out to look around my yard will def help. Thanks for the awesome tip.
When you do picture me standing on my deck in my boots, pajamas, and winter coat. The neighbors probably think I'm mad. I'm sure I make quite the sight! When you do if you don't laugh I hope you at least smile. HUGS ❤️
