Driving
Hi Soccer205, please don't give up after one lesson.Anything that's new is always a challenge. It's about
getting out of your comfort zone.
I was a late bloomer in learning to drive. I was afraid
in the power of a car and would I be capable of handling
the logistics of such a machine.
It's takes time and practice to get confident. It's all about
the right time for you to get on the road after you get tired
of having "no wheels" to get around.
I wish you good luck in giving it another try. xx
Hey soccer205 You can do this at first it very very scary I remember being like this on my first lesson I cried and said no more the instructor pushed me said calm down you can do this if you need to talk inbox always open for anyone
I failed twice. Take it slow. In my experience things like this “click”. Like you do the movement with your brain enough times your body catches up and 🫰 🫰 👏
There was a point in my life where I would not even sit in the driver’s seat. Perhaps repeat your first lesson as many times as needed to feel comfortable. New skills take time and patience and practice to build your confidence. Hoping your next time in the driver’s seat goes better than you ever expected. 😊
Confidence grows, as you get used to driving. It is scary at first, but keep on, it does get easier!
I have had to quit now,as my eyes are failing, but I was like you, scared stiff and thinking I would never be good at it. took me four tests before I passed!
I grew to love it and I miss the freedom of that ability.
I promise, it does get easier. Please don't give up too easily. Any new skill needs to be practiced, a bit like learning a long poem. Rehearsals.
Cheers, Midori
