I look up at night and wonder if there's anything as peaceful as the stars in the sky. I wonder why i've let the days past me by, and why the stars shine more brightly then this life of mine.
Perhaps in the peacefulness is what i believe in, by looking around at this crazy world, we live in. Because even displeased people cannot take away the beauty of the set rise and sunset skies.
We look up, but don't appreciate the light... only on the darkest of nights. When it's quiet and the peacefulness in what you see is what you so long for your life to be. Something so small, and yet so wonderful, just like the stars in the night time sky.

It could be the upgrading of the street lights, unfortunately pollution another cause? All the bright lights in the sky, when younger, the sky seeming blacker, no aircraft breaking the peace of the night, wondering if there was life out there, maybe somebody on one of those specks of light, looking up in the dark sky, "I wonder if there is life out there?" My parents had a large garden many the night spent looking up at the dark nights [even have a telescope up in my loft, now unused!] Shanm2 those were the days!🙄👍
When I first moved to the Rocky Mountains in the 90s you could drive about 20 miles into the mountains and see a sky of stars. Not anymore. Last year I went to a place that is a designated dark sky place but I think there is so much residual glow that it still isn’t as dark as it should be. You can still go to Mexico and see a full sky of stars.
