Guy problem

So I really like this guy. And I've seen him a lot when I go to this event that I go to. We haven't talked and I'm pretty sure he has no idea who I am. He's well known at this event also (he's not popular or like a celebrity). I tagged him in an Instagram story basically saying I had a crush on him and I heard nothing from him . I've also commented on his Instagram post once and still nothing. It's so frustrating because guys always say they like it when the girl makes the first move but when I gain the courage to do it I hear nothing but silence. I literally want to crawl under a rock and die. Rejection sucks and I feel nothing but embarrassment.

That doesn’t sound like rejection. Maybe he doesn’t reply to people he doesn’t know. There are many reasons. Too many to speculate. You should talk to him at an event. What kind of event?

Well if he is popular he may get a lot of unsolicited messages. If you want to get to know him I think you will need to talk to him. Maybe an after game party or another common event.
