I've been homeless for almost 2 months. It's been so hard. I've been placed in a motel by the state thankfully. I finally move into a room for rent tomorrow and am scared ill just hibernate in my room and isolate. I have so many fears. I think I fear everything. I've met my landlord/room mate. He seems ok. I hope it works out. I'm not usually shy but in these situations, I am. It leads to more depression and anxiety. Does anyone relate? And thank you to those on H.U. who reached out. I'm so grateful for this site.

Im so happy for you. Try to focus on gratitude.
I'm happy for you! My sisters IG and JG who both are bipolar, were/are homeless. Difference though after much pushing my sister IG got herself a voucher for section 8 and is now living in a little apartment and now has a pet. JG on the other hand won't take any kind of advice on that. She rather be on the streets and suffer cause she feels she's better than being on section 8 😞
But you did alright! You got yourself some shelter. This can be the start of something good. Wishing you nothing but blue skies ❤️
That’s wonderful, wish you all the best, take care 😘
