4 weeks on Sertraline, when did it start working for you?

I have been on Sertraline 25 mg for 4 weeks and I am also doing TMS treatments. I have seen some small improvement but the last couple days I have had terrible anxiety. Is this normal? The TMS isn’t supposed to have any side effects.

It can take up to 6 weeks for it to take effect and you are at a low dose, so it could take longer. More than likely your anxiety is from the distress of waiting for it to work and over thinking it which increases your anxiety and cortisol. Most people with anxiety have a difficult time with change. The best thing you can do is try to relax, know that this temporary and give yourself self-care and compassion during this time. Also know that I still had anxiety while on meds, it took learning to change my approach to it and accept the anxious thought and feelings to make a difference. I've been on 25 now also for 4 weeks still tired headaches and pain on my left side of stomach just under rib i was thinking the same thing had a cry today wondering when i'm going to get some energy or motivation back this close to chucking it in as headaches make me feel so horrible ive seen a bit of improvement tho but short lived one day i could feel better the next im feeling rank are u getting any other side effects ? Keep reading post saying it gets worse b4 better but after 4 wks was expecting side effect to be going
