Today is a day when my anxiety wants to drive me crazy. I have a relationship in which it is not easy since I fell in love with a person older than me and he has two children that unfortunately they do not accept me. Today his youngest daughter is coming home for dinner. She is the one I have had the hardest time trying to get close to. My anxiety and the way she treats me creates a mix that I can't deal with. I don't know how to not seem like a rude person to her just because my anxiety invades my nerves. Please guys tell me what can I do?

Sad to say this problem is not unusual especially if one of you have children it can take time to get into some form of relationship. You will never be able to replace their Mother and the harder you try, it will take time, Do you have any children ??. Be cool and eventually you will become a friend as the child becomes older, the same may apply to the son as well, as the Relationship with the Father may be affected with the devorce.
One thing you could try is a family meeting to discuss the relationships and expectations of everyone, What does the Father say. In the UK we can arrange family Councilling if you are planning to stay together
