You probably came off it too quick it's common to get side effects when you first start it as your body has to regulate

Yeah I used to take it . Well it's called sertraline here but it's the same group. What sort of side effects did you have ?It's common to get side effects for most people they go / reduce after a few weeks. It took me about 4 weeks and change in dosage before I felt any better .

i took it for 21 years, noticed stomach issues, sweating more, but that was the worst, otherwise i was normal. I got off of it and fell apart.

Why did you stop taking it if you don't mind me asking?

How do you feel taking it for the past 7 days? I just started a low dosage of 25 mg. I had taken 50 mg. for many, many years and I felt much better with it. Initially, it really calmed my anxiety and depression. I was working weekly with a very fine psychiatrist who I still work with less frequently. But I didn't feel any side effects honestly and so far I don't think I do either. It does take time I think to get used to any antidepressant. I hope this helps you.

I took it for a number of years but it didn't help me much. The only side effect I had was some mild sexual dysfunction. It can take 2 to 3 weeks to work and even up to 6 weeks so give it time. The majority of initial issues are caused by being hyper-vigilant and focusing so much internally on what is going on with yourself so try to relax and give yourself time and self-compassion to adjust while it's taking effect.

Sarah, I’ve been on Zoloft for years now… it helped me tremendously with my post partum depression and now w menopause. No side effects whatsoever, but you have to give it 4 weeks and then 6 weeks for sure to build up in your body.. you should feel better after about 4 weeks. It really does not come w side effects. I just started to feel like myself again.. both times. But you have to be patient. I was on 50mg for years. Now on 150 and still no side effects and just a good balance. Has to be put on HRT also… was not in good shape at all all throughperi and menopause. Have found balance now. It helped ,e a lot with anxiety and also mood swings. Hang in there… you will feel better soon. One of the better SSRIs for sure. I tried many thru the years…Good luck!

Let us know how you are doing!

Xoxo ❤️

You are only one week in… sounds like you could feel all of this…as long as it’s not unbearable I would give it another week or two…. Good luck, you definitely should feel a change after 4 weeks, and then 6 weeks about back to your normal self. If you don’t then it’s not the right Ed… xoxo

Hi there, I'm doing ok today. Haven't had much anxiety today. Still having fatigue and not big appetite. Dr upped my dosage to 50 yesterday

That is great news. Hang in there… I am pretty sure you will be better at 50 and stick w that for a while. Only if u feel after a few weeks you re still not right u increase. But I’m positive you will get back to yourself at 50 mg ❤️

Thank you, I think the 25 wasn't enough for my anxiety. I did notice a few hours after taking it my head feels weird like extreme brain fog then goes away. Hoping this dose will be good for me 😊
