Playing guitar helps me. Often on a Friday evening, after an exhausting week at work, I will come home and head straight to my bedroom and just play. It's about the only time I can get out of my own head.

Recently, drawing. Gets me out of my head for a bit. If I'm being honest, however, it's usually a little weed and YouTube. Mostly Got Talent highlight videos. I love the down-and-out people who get big reactions. I've been known to get a little misty-eyed now and then when I watch them, lol. It's kind of cathartic for me.

A little weed works wonders sometimes.

I'm not a patient person so I go the old fashioned route, don't have to wait but a few minutes lol. Been decades since I had an edible, so I'm sure they've come a long way since then, though.

Mindful nature walks makes me feel good! Start with fast walk, take a break sittning on a bench focus on the breat and what I see, hear and feel, continue to walk and feel more present!

I’ve started an adult dance class. It’s mostly middle aged women. We just do a bit of stretching followed by learning a small routine. It’s the laughter that is well worth not being coordinated. I wasn’t sure I’d last or that it would help me. But each week in class I think of nothing but the class and my focus is on myself. I will continue to share what I try and hope you do too. So far it’s a 8!

Hmmmm… a hot bath before bed helps. Taking deep breaths from an open window, too. Also writing fiction, where I can escape into someone else’s life for a while.

Everything, walking my dog, playing the piano, even attempting to sit exams with shaky hands, life in general makes me feel good.

I don't currently have a dog but when I did, I loved taking her for walks and just hugging and talking to her, it instantly made me feel better and in love with her and life itself. Nothing is bette than the unconditional love of a pet.

Exercise, eating, meditating, petting my animals and staying busy. Also anti anxiety meds. Do what helps YOU

Exercising, prayer (often with friends via Zoom), some social media, driving, jamming air guitar in the privacy of my apartment to my favorite songs.
