I’m in the process of having everything I’ve wanted for years and I’m still working on my accomplishments but the stress and responsibility of it all is weighing me down, worrying me, making me feel like absolute shit and all I want to do is sleep. I feel like I’m drowning in this new role of adulthood. In my mind I’m still a girl who never thought she’d amount to much or believes in herself.
In reality I’m a nursing student about to close on a future home with my loving husband. I’d never thought I’d succeed but here I am and I’m having a really difficult time handling all of it.

Hello . Congratulations on all of your achievements. It's totally understandable to feel stressed and worried about them . Moving and studying are very big deals . This don't make you less of an adult . In fact it shows that you care about them and want to succeed. I think everyone has some type stress and doubts when starting something new , especially for a major event . Try to take each day as it comes and just focus on what you need to do that day . Writing things down or journalling and making to do lists can help when you have a lot of things to do / think about . Also reminds you of what you achieved when you are feeling down.Good luck with everything 🐼
I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way! I’m sort of in the same boat. I just got my dream job and I feel like a loser, I feel like I will never be anything I’ll be good at anything. Now I have my dream job, my mental health is going to destroy it anyway! I’m so sorry. You are amazing and a complete warrior! Xo
Good morning,Congratulations! Keep it up, you are doing well! I know that college and work are extremely difficult and cause stress and anxiety. One lesson I had to learn the hard way back in my younger days; You have to take care of yourself before you fall. Make sure that you get your rest and sleep, make sure that you take time to have a little fun in your life with your family/friends. Even if it is going to the park or coffee out or a walk or window shopping...Do not forget to pray to God for wisdom, peace, and a calm Spirit. "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
