How are you and Dylan getting on?

This afternoon I have been busy in the kitchen preparing and cooking veg for future meals this week so I can just heat them up when I am ready!

I have cooked some mashed swede, turnip and carrot mash and a root veg fish pie to have another day this afternoon which I did in bad temper after I was told I had been unsuccessful at the interview I went to for a part time job last Friday so I decided to channel the anger into something constructive and that's the result!

Dylan will be envious of the nice veg as we have had yellow, white and purple carrots as well here!

Dylan is in my bad books big time. I found a length of shoelace on the floor almost in pieces- from my boots🙄Sorry to hear about the job. Your food sounds delicious , so at least the anger was put to good use. I like the idea of root veg in a fish pie.

Now I have calmed down and got things into perspective I feel that was a blessing in disguise as it was only part time anyway and my sister in law tells me that the staff at that place aren't very nice to work for and that they have done me a favour but its never nice at first getting those calls saying you haven't got the job.
