Blood clott?

Healthanxietygirlxo profile image

Hey guys. As most of you know from pervious post I’ve had the worst flu ever! I was checked at hospital for pain in my right ribs when breathing and this was due to strained muscles from coughing and sneezing. This went away after 2 days. Now I have the same in my left side, it’s been 2 days and it’s better but not away! Then earlier on I noticed when making dinner a pain in my lower left back, only when bending over and standing straight, it’s getting worse and I’m so bloody scared this could be linked to a blood clot in my lung or something. Don’t want to bother hospital AGAIN if it’s just for the same reason. I’m really freaking out as the lower back pain is so sore. It’s focused in one spot too 😭😭😭😭😭

Do you have access to telehealth? Usually free with insurance but it is also cheap. You are never a bother. that is their job

Hi the hagirl Have you tried nhs24 there's a app on Google for nhs24 or there's another one I'm not sure of the name but if you put in health apps it might help! I wish you help

Hi there healthanxietygirl, I agree with Blueruth in the sense that it is the job of medical professionals - you are never a bother. Being a medical professional myself, and struggling with health anxiety, I can relate. That being said, it is not likely a blood clot considering your symptoms, however, please do visit the hospital if you feel you need to. I know there is a fine line between anxiety - knowing what is real and what is not. Telehealth is a great resource through insurance, as Blueruth mentioned. Hang in there.
