It’s easier for me to be kind to myself when I’m doing well. For I think reasons to do with how I was raised when I feel down I punish myself typically when im sad I feel like I deserve it ... not allowed to show emotions especially anger..... well I’m proud of myself today- I kicked in a bunch of cardboard boxes to let off steam ...

Whoa! Yay! I'm impressed.

Closest I ever get to letting off steam (in a healthy way) was a couple weeks ago, when I was trying to learn to play Lego Worlds.

I got hold of a chicken (somehow) and couldn't let go! I kept shaking my hand and the poor thing would get knocked here, knocked there, shaken up and down, I just couldn't, well, ahum, leggo. All the while the poor chicken's screaming squawk-squawk-squawk! I shocked the he!! out of myself, but I was laughing hysterically the whole time. Yikes! 🐓 🚀
