I have been struggling with alot of health issues and I have gotten nowhere. I have a new Dr.who actually listened to me and didn't just think it is all in my head like I am making it up. I am so excited to move forward and think positive to getting better! Also I have a job I have been at for 4 years ,they started to used my physical and mental health against me in negative ways.It actually made my mental health worse.I am so proud of myself to say I gave my notice and I have a new job all lined up.Change is hard ,but sometimes it is for the best. I have to believe in myself and keep moving forward. We can all do it!

Positive things in my life right now
Hi karen, you are right in that change is difficult but we must become ourown advocates at times. Who better knows what we need than ourselves.
I read your profile, I too have Fibro which started with overwhelming stress
and broken sleep pattern.
I'm happy you took the initiative to leave your present job. Your health is
worth more than the paycheck. Good Luck on your new job. Thank you
for the positive post. Keep us updated on your new position xx
Well done!x
So positive! Wow! And good for you! I agree with Agora1, she always has good advice. And I have something to add - as much as possible I'd keep my medical and personal info out of the workplace. As you've seen there are those who will use that information against you. I'm retired now but when I worked I saw that happen to others. I was very healthy then, no medical problems, but I still pretty much kept my personal life out of work. You can be friendly with people and still have some privacy. As for your new doctor, that's great and I sense that it's quite a relief to you. It took me a long time to find a good doctor and it feels good to know he listens and treats me like a human being. He also appreciates my preference for alternative medicine which is really great. In my experience most of them don't approve.
So nice to read your post, full of positivity. I looked at your profile and see that you joined HU on my birthday - October 30. 😀 Welcome!
Belated Happy Birthday blueslite xxI agree with your response regarding medical and personal
issues at work.
Actually being lab. rat is helping me🤞I am three quarter way through various tests and scans, actually "you have that because you also have that, which in turn might explain that!" Weird tests actually explaining because "You are a one off" I have such 'weird' reactions/side effects, at this moment this "one off" feeling not too bad 🤗👍 BUT😗?
Thank you so much for all of your caring words and support. Yes I would love to hear about the support group for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Honestly any support or help I can get I am open to. I feel that it helps me get through things in life.Life in general is hard and then you add physical and mental health issues. Thank you again for your support and prayers!😁❤
Hi: I'm happy for you because you made progress. I know how difficult it can be. Keep on making progress by taking care of yourself first, anything else comes second.👍
Stay true to yourself and believe in yourself. Hope you kill it at your new position. That was brave of you to change. Stay strong.
