My anxieties came back a little today. So I thought we could focus on another positive. (I'm sorry, but I don't care who you are, we are all made beautiful and have at least one feature to be proud of.)
I use to have big chubby cheeks as a kid, so big that a boy in high school referred to me as the girl with chubby cheeks. When the baby fat finally melted away from those cheeks in college, they turned out to be the high cheekbones most models have. I also love the birthmark on my leg because it looks like an alien face, and I was fascinated by aliens as a kid.

I have a bit of a stutter at times. After going on a week intensive course it's a lot better than it was. Now attitude is i don't get stressed about it and wouldn't change anything. Its part of me!!
Hi it’s Shnookie. I stuttered as a kid. When I was about 9 I went to a speech pathologist. My mom meaning well in her own way wanted me to keep this secret because she didn’t want people to make fun of me. I know she meant well but I found this to be burdensome. However one day when I was in class, my teacher said to me in front of other kids that my mouth sounded like it was full of marbles. I was mortified and a shy kid as well. I told my mom what happened and she went to school the next day to speak to the teacher. I was lucky that I had an advocate then. As I grew up I came into my own and many a Time was outspoken. I give U props and kudos for going to the course and for accepting your stuttering as part of who U R. U can always personally message me. I’m here 4 U Hugs 🤗 S
Hi Shnookie. Can't believe how insensitive your teacher was. How awful for you!! Like a lot of stutters I used to struggle saying my name( which I don't now, but struggle a bit saying words begining with B). Anyway, at school I used to hate it when it was time for the register as you had to say your name then. Nowadays, I am not embarrassed about my stutter(not as much). The intensive 8 days course I did back in 2009 was amazing. Thanks for your kind words. U can always message me too. Take care😀
Hi Shnookie - just to say like you I was humiliated in front of the whole class - I had to read out loud and was so nervous that I read too fast, stuttered and made loads of mistakes. This teacher told me my reading was so bad I would have to go back to my ABC and relearn it! I was mortified and still remember it to this day….but I went on to become a teacher and vowed never ever to sap a child’s confidence. Don’t know what my favourite feature about myself is - I am 69 and do not enjoy looking at myself in mirrors!
Kudos to U 4 becoming a caring and compassionate teacher. So sorry 😐 that your teacher was such a piece of s**t. I was so lucky that I had my mom who was in essence my best friend to
I don't really have anything that I consider a special feature. I do have the knack of wanting to help.other people when needed. So no special feature.
We are better then neighbours 🏡|🏘The amount of time we spend on here chatting it feels like we're all sharing a house together. We probably spend more time on here chatting to each other then we do with our family members 🤭
Lol I managed to keep the ravages of the sun off my face. I used to wear a lot of face makeup. So I guess my best feature would be my facial skin. My forehead is as smooth as a baby’s butt. But my butt isn’t.😵💫
You are a lovely person on the inside, from what I can tell by your posts, Isinatra. 🌥 Good sun practice is something I do, too. I am allergic to all sunscreens and most facial creams, so I have plenty of sun hats, long sleeved cotton/linen shirts and pants, etc.
Thank you, snowdaze. You are lovely as well. All that gear to wear just to go outside. I hope the weather where you live is finally turning cooler and you don’t live in Florida. 😉🪶
Yes, the weather is starting to become Fall-like, I couldn't be happier...until it finally snows! ❄️ I used to live in the Gainesville/Ocala area, so I know of the hot weather you speak of. ☀️
My favorite way to pass the time was to get in the car and drive through horse country. Marion County will always have a place in my heart. Oh, getting ice-cream from the cafe in Micanopy was also a favorite way to spend some time.
I had to google Chipley. No, unfortunately, I have never been there. Once this pandemic and it's restrictions ease up, I will be back in Florida to see friends. Chipley would be a nice place for a stop-over. Here in Canada, in my region, horse farms are not the norm. In my next life I want to be a horse trainer, in Florida, lol!
Perhaps we should try not to think too much about Charlize, lol! I am sure she is very kind-hearted, other wise Sillysauage wouldn't speak so highly of her.
Your personality is great Isinatra. Your so easy to get on with. Kind and caring. An excellent listener. Just to have one friend like you is a blessing. I guess I'm lucky to have a few on HU.
My best physical feature, the one I fuss with the most, is my hair. It is wavy and wurly and almost mid-back length. I like to wear it up and have taught myself some really pretty updo styles, Youtube has a great selection of tutorials. Family members always ask me for my advice when it comes to "hair stuff."
You know you’re screwed when you can’t think of anything other than failures and low self esteem. Sorry for commenting something negative on such a positive post, but after a brief thought really can’t think anything good about me. ;-;
Oh but this is not the case, Redfox9. I have just browsed your profile page and it seems to me that many of your posts offer up helpful quotes, tips on good books to read and much support to the members here.
This is a fine quality, one that is appreciated and needed on this forum. 🌿
Thanks a lot, sometimes we have a filter in our mind which filter out positives and only allow negative things to pass. Your comment made my day. Best wishes from my side.
Eye have seen some beautiful eyes. I have blue and everyone goes wild about them and not sure why because I've seen some awesome green, brown, hazel colored ones. When the sun hits the eyes to make them sparkle I am in awe at all the colors. 👀
Oh, okay, we call them hives here in Canada. It is a type of hive that is caused by an allergic reaction to the cold. This is why I dress in layers! (hint hint 😄)
The Province of Quebec has the largest French speaking population, many of whom speak English, also. I live in the Province of Ontario, where English is the main language. I speak no french at all, although I can read it pretty well. I have family in Quebec and they are all bilingual. Beautiful country if I do say so myself. 🇨🇦
I drove thru parts of Canada. Love the waterfalls up there. Don't remember which parts I went thru but beautiful. Had a bit of a time getting back in the US. The guy had me going. It was scary at the time but hilarious now.

I am not surprised that you found Canada to be beautiful Our most famous waterfall is in Niagara Falls, Ontario, also known as the Horseshoe Falls, due to its shape. The border crossing into the U.S. is also there. Those border crossing agents can be intimidating at the best of times.
Hey, I like your name change. 😉

I was actually at Niagara Falls for a conference and one other time when my uncle picked me up. I was at an awe of both sides. I could've stood there for days watching the falls. Just as awesome at nite. The name was perfect. I hadn't thot of that until I saw you post it.🙂❤

Oh yes, the night-time lighting is gorgeous at the Falls. The Christmas lighting is an epic event!
Smiling is infectious. Everyone loves a beautiful smile. I do. It can change my whole day when someone smiles at me walking by me. Smiling can be a gift.
I get compliments on my eyes and skin the most. Always being a anxious person, I spend most of my time inside and when I’m outside I always wear sunscreen.
I can recognize good writing and storytelling. It's given me great pleasure in my life.
I've also got big brown eyes and very curly dark brown hair. (Lots of grey now.) It took me a long time to make peace with the curls, but (lol) it helped that a number of women with very straight hair were jealous.
When I was young , I wanted your hair with curls. When I got older, I kind of got what I wanted. Lesson learned…when you ask for something be very specific . Without a ton of hairspray, my hair usually looks like this 🌪on a good day. 🤷♀️
