I have been having bad days of high anxiety and depression and the fact that I still need to wake up, go to my job, deal with my co-workers, come home and take care of my kid so then prepare for the next day, is often unbearable.
So I have been day dreaming in a beautiful place that I imagine to be in. Some times it helps me. Also, I struggle to sleep at night, so I decide to close my eyes and imagine again a beautiful place to pretend that I am in that moment. Of course, just in my imagination.
In this moment I am imagining to be in the beach you can see in the picture.
You do something like that?
What is your imaginary place?
Or what do you do?

Hello…..my go to place for serenity is a log cabin in the mountains. Nighttime….quiet…..crackling fireplace. Dim inside except for the flames of the fire. Looking out the window at the white blanket of snow, sparkling from the moonlight. I see some of the dark water and the white caps of ice in the lake just over there. It’s so beautiful, I can’t look away. And I know that this is peace.
There …in your picture... but on Bora Bora...and be financially independent to be able to enjoy living there. Poverty in paradise isn’t any consolation. For over 20 years I dreamed of moving to Oregon and living the dream of forests and pristine coastlines. But without financial independence, it’s a struggle where ever you live.
Sometimes I like to imagine that I am lying on a nice beach in Florida or the Bahamas or Jamaica with a relaxing drink in my hand like a Bud Light or a Strawberry Daiquiri. I usually hardly ever drink alcohol but I think once in awhile it's okay. And if I don't have the money to go on a nice vacation, at least I can go there in my mind!!! 💖
