After almost 3 weeks of excruciating pain due to the bad fall i had, breaking my shoulder, and being subscribed Zapain and now Morphine ,nothing but nothing relieves the pain.Yesterday i contacted the Medical Centre and they said to increase the opioids but if i do that i swear i will become a Zombie, and the last Zombie i heard of ate its neighbour....( sorry but i still have to keep my humour)
I also suggested that maybe my arm is also broken,as that is where the pain is mostly, its in my upper arm to my elbow, plus tips of two fingers have gone black.
I feel that this is really affecting my mental health.
And so i expect a further phone call later today, but how on earth doctors can possibly diagnose a condition over the phone i have no idea, and to try and get a face to face appointment is almost impossible, and is as difficult as finding hens teeth, and i do question what doctors have been doing over the past almost two years, for they certainly have not been seeing patients.

I feel your sounds are more pain. That's true physical pain will surely makes mental agony. Lots of time, physical pain will makes more stress in our mental health. This will also increase our body pain and also feel very hard to manage the painful situation.
I’m sorry you are still suffering such pain secrets, could you explain how concerned you are and ask again for a face to face appointment. I don’t understand why GP’s aren’t offering face to face appointments again. So many people are now going to A and E because they can’t see their GP.
I feel for you. Of course they need to see you in person..Health systems are crazy now. You would think they would be back fairly well by now. Whst country are you in if you don't mind me asking?
Thought NHS would be more efficient. I'm in Ireland . HSE are often found lacking. As regards GP service, I found mine was reluctant to see people in person even before COVID appeared.
When it comes to a possible breakage though, it seems like sheer negligence not to see you - unbelievable!
yesterday a locum came to my home and did loads of tests, and he believes the blackness on my fingers is due to bruising traveling down my arm,and says it will get better, and it is early days yet.Thankfully my blood pressure is normal,as is my heart,lungs...and he did say to up the Morphine much more often, but it does affect my vision and balance ,so i am being ultra careful now.Thankyou for your concern.x
I’m so glad you received the care you needed. But I’m sorry you are suffering with the pain. I wish you could have someone come in to help you with daily tasks, so you wouldn’t have to use your shoulder so much and you could get more rest. I know how difficult it can be when a person has a major injury and is alone. 🙁
