You will love it when it's done ...we now have a 3rd generation babys...just gold fish, but they are our goldfish worth every minuite. Alan has beautiful Koi...but our pond is small and I was worried the Koi would get too big.

This started as a 6 ft bye 5 ft, now 22 ft bye 6 ft. with the option of going 2 ft deeper !

Our concern at first about going to deep was to make sure what ever got into the pond could get out, ie....cat, hedge hog, etc. So we just built steps with stones and made underwater bridges for the fish to hide under if they wanted. Also keep in mind they will multiply...so lots of plants are great, ours are only getting started, it takes a while for the lilys and stuff to grow.

Ive built a cage system for it so no child or animal can get in when im not there ! it has a tunnel and large shelves for them also. and a lot of plants, installed a skimmer as well !
