the vietnam nurses suffered horrendous ptsd from all they endured- despite as some would say they were in country for only a year

however the hours and the suffering they were exposed to are the real story not the calendar year

same with nurses who are in the trenches for years and mioions of hours

how can anyone question what they endure

its a profound insult to these people who are the guardians that society and employers can be so heartless and insensitive same wth families who are so ignorant and have no idea what people have gone through

add insult to injury

our first respensders and teachers etc log miioijnoins of hours

not the calendar year

in very complex toxic encironaments

Very true. One year of trauma bleeds into the rest of a person’s life.

My husband is a first responder and I’m a special education teacher. Thank you for the empathy.

Brig I believe witnessing a single traumatic incident can change a person's life forever, just as suffering trauma can.
