Hi community. My therapist does DBT and is always talking about wise mind vs. emotional mind. Does anybody have any good book suggestions on this topic? There are so many that I dont know what to read. Thank you:)

I have not heard of "wise mind vs emotional mind" But I am thinking its maybe similar to eckhart tolle's explanation of the "pain body" Maybe look at "the power of now" He is very likeable in my opinion he has lots of youtube videos so maybe check him out. I bought the power of now second hand of ebay very cheap.

Also look into Louise Hay books,

or maybe even ask your therapist for any recommendations

Check out amazon.com/Dialectical-Beha... Chapter 4 Advanced Mindfulness Skills goes into the concept of wise mind and radical acceptance. Also just a great book on DBT in general.
