Hydroxyzine and interactions

Has anyone here taken hydroxyzine with lithium or trazodone for anxiety? I’ve been reading that interactions between one or the other can be serious and was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with it.

I've taken hydroxyzine and trozodone, but I haven't taken lithium. The hydroxyzine and trozodone give me pretty bad "hangovers". Lots of congestion in the head/sinuses. I think that they act like antihistamines. I'm sure that others can add a little bit more specifics, but those are my experiences.

My doctor said that Trazadone can give a person headaches. I get headaches but not sure if it is from the Trazadone.

Trazodone helps with sleep, it helps with my digs with anxiety during fireworks, I can't take it because I feel like a hangover the next day, Hydroxyzine is a total waste and did nothing for me, it's for sinus problems no help at all, WHOEVER gave you lithium, run and don't ever go back to that doctor, that medication is lethal, I almost died, this is usually prescribed by older Physicians that have no idea what they are doing anymore, look it up!

Yes, I am prescribed, Hydroxyzine and Trazadone. As far as anxiety goes for both, the hydroxyzine you can’t really feel but it does work. And the trazodone I mostly use for sleep. But when I run low on my regular anxiety medication if I do take both of those together it’s kind of like a tiredness/groggy feeling. It definitely takes the edge off you’re anxiety but really doesn’t do “that much”. But will help ! 100 mg of trazodone, 50 mg of Hydroxyzine. If I have to take both of them I’ve never had any bad interaction or anything like that but I usually take half of my trazodone if it’s during the day for anxiety so I don’t get too tired. Other than that, I mean I’m no doctor but I personally have never had any bad interactions.
