Tired of always being tired

Hello. Im new, never tried the online support before, but what I'm doing isn't working, so im willing to try anything. I sit in my room and watch TV unless im sleeping or working. I have no energy or motivation to do anything else. Not after working, not even on the weekends. Tired of never feeling like doing anything.

Have you talked to your doctor about this? There are all sorts of reasons this could be occurring and depression is only one of them.

I suffer from the same thing, I wake up to take my daughter to school thinking about the nap I will take when I come back home, all I wantto do is sleep or watch tv until I have to go to work I’m the afternoon.

As Puggles mentioned, there could be more going on health wise. Talk to your PCP first. Sorry you are going through this.

This sounds a lot like a budding depression...., no motivation whatsoever.... but like puggles and photobeats said It could be also something else. I would do a full bloodwork. Sometime a deficiency in iron and vitamin D can do that.... talk to your doc... do a full checkup. You will get better. Going for a run at this point will not help....Big hugs to you...

Yeah Aerial, I agree with the consensus on this one. While this seems like some depression, it could be other things. And even with depression a medical Dr can help immensely. I encourage you to start there.Prayers friend.

I am also extremely tired and I am retired. Certain medications cause tiredness, but help depression. I feel it is the lesser of two evils. I also struggle each day.
