I was scrolling online through some videos and I saw one about happiness. Then I read the comments and people were talking about Happiness and Depression.
I wish I wouldn’t have read it ;(
I know best to keep away from social media but I get so bored sometimes even if I do other things I need better stuff to keep me entertained.

I’m sorry to hear that a video comments section made you feel bad. A lot of people say a lot of things for many unhelpful reasons. Sometimes, they don’t even believe it themselves! And sometimes, they lack understanding about anxiety and depression. Though we can’t always escape these unpleasant surprises, sometimes they help us understand ourselves better. If something rubs you the wrong way, it’s a great opportunity to find out what your values are. For example, if someone says, “Depression isn’t real.” Then you might think, “I value being around supportive people who understand depression, and I value limiting my contact with people who don’t understand depression.” I like your idea to find other ways to entertain!! 🤗 🌿
Thanks for the advice. It’s hard to escape reading such things nowadays. I just take a few minutes for it to process, snap out of it then continue with my life.
Hey Alfred.. Oh, I know social media is corrupt, I'm not on any myself in fear of going astray. It is so easy to be entangled in such and realise later, social media messes people up. I also do get bored but I found a way out. I just play online chess with people and make friends and chat. In fact, I play with few friends I found on this site and we play chess the whole day that we don't get time to visit HU anymore. Damn, it good, it has helped me by taking so much stress from me bcz instead of thinking about my problems, I think about how to move a piece and it takes forever. There are many things you can find especially games that engage the mind. Hope u find one that you enjoy
