Im talking girl problems. Menstrual issues. Hormone mayhem. Bloody, bloody, problems that only people born female would understand. Real disgusting stuff.
Okay now that all the gals are here, who's your celebrity crush? I've been watching Lucifer and I have a massive crush on Tom Ellis. I would leave my whole life behind to run away and marry him, that man is hot 🔥 🔥 🔥
Me too. And he is a good loving husband and a family man. And he is nerdy and funny, my type. Also God loving. I liked him from ten years ago. So handsome.
It’s natural I don’t think it’s disgusting 🤣😂😂 just annoying 😅😅😅. My celebrity crush would be Brad Pitt 😍😍😍 I don’t think I would leave my whole life to run to him but let him come to me whenever he’s ready 🤣😂😅. I watched Lucifer, he’s not too shabby looking for sure 😉
Omg gonna age myself but, hormone fluctuations and the where is it of perimenopause. 🥴😂🤣😂 As for celeb crush Steve Martin and Gerard Depardieu, I have a nose fetish..... 😆
Well, it's fate that I read your post, because Tom Ellis is currently all I think about! It's bloody ridiculous! I discovered him on the show Miranda a few months ago -- do you know about it? Fell deeply in love.I'm on season 3 of Lucifer. It took me weeks to get through the first couple episodes because I keep pausing it and *sighing*😍!
I truly believe he is the most beautiful man I've ever seen. (I change celeb crushes like underware but THIS time it's different!)
Oh yes, Tom Ellis, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Holland, Tom Mison...besides my below-mentioned love for Stephen Colbert (and Steve Carell, yow!) my OG love of all time is John Oliver. I will fight y’all for him! He’s such a good, good human and those hands!
First paragraph (& ruse) reply: check out the endometriosis forum on here in case your periods, or anything else to do with your cycle, seems wrong - you might be surprised to hear that endo isn't just about painful & heavy periods (most general doctors don't have a clue) - or you might already know 🤔
Second paragraph reply: I just re-watched Jurassic World with my little girl, the other day, & Chris Pratt just looked so 😋🤤 yummy to me in that movie. Kinda caught me off guard - maybe it's the time of the month 🤣!
I'm on my period and my hormonal issues are all over the place since this pandemic. I need this kinda question. 🙈 Mine would be Ryan Gosling in Notebook. I used to have a major crush on someone and he's so similar looking to Ryan. The hair and the smile, I don't know, I think I definitely find certain hair in men attractive. 🤓
My daughter suffers a lot due to menstrual cramps and and anxiety during her period. No doctor has been able to relieve her problems so far. I'm really worried for her. She's 20
Her hormones are still stabilizing at her age but if you feel or she feels it's to interrupting at that time of the month only, ask the doctor to check her hormone levels. Just because she is young doesn't mean her hormone levels are matching. Just a thought. Gentle hugs!!!
The huge majority of general doctors know very little about menstruation abnormalities - despite what they claim. Please see if your daughter can see a specialist - things like endometriosis won't show up on a regular ultrasound scan, (only diagnosable via laparoscopy... MRI scan can sometimes pick up endometriosis but not consistently), but things like polycystic ovaries will show up on a scan & they affect all kinds of things to do with menstruation.
You're welcome to look through the posts on the endometriosis forum on here & ask the ladies any questions you/ she might have. It's a very kind & extremely informative group.
Thank you for your kind concern and reply. I read about endometriosis on Wikipedia. That could be the cause of her pain. Laparoscopy, indeed, is the best way to diagnose. But besides pain she also remains depressed and anxious during her period. And it lasts only a week every month though the symptoms start before her actual menstruation. She also feels numbmess below her navel, including both of her legs, and her whole body aches. During her seven day period she cries for no obovious reason. Afterwards, for 15 days she remains normal, absolutely normal.
I'm glad to hear your concern for your daughter - that in itself is valuable.
Wikipedia isn't the best informed knowledge on the subject & even general medical practitioners aren't experts. My own doctor gave me misinformation & dismissed me for the longest time. It's only after speaking with a specialist that I was taken seriously - us women have to battle through the medical system and are made to feel we're imagining our very real symptoms. Lots of us endo girls suffer from a variety of both emotional and physical problems that go hand in hand with our cycles.
Here's an extract from a more informed website:
"Endometriosis can have a significant impact on a person's life in a number of ways, including:
Chronic pain
Fatigue/lack of energy
Depression/isolation
Problems with a couple’s sex life/relationships
An inability to conceive
Difficulty in fulfilling work and social commitments... "
Please visit this website for more detailed & accurate information - there's also a symptom checklist that is helpful for presenting to your daughter's doctor. Unfortunately, endometriosis is a disease that doesn't have a fixed pattern of symptoms for everyone & someone with stage 4 endo may have no symptoms whereas someone with stage 1 may be really suffering. endometriosis-uk.org/unders...
It's best to get it investigated and treated sooner rather than later because of the risk of fertility impact & also possible areas of adhesions. Please do feel free to read posts on the endometriosis forum here on HU to find out more about different symptoms & experiences.
In the past, I've had celebrity crushes on Adam Levine and Rob Pattinson from those Twilight movies. Currently I really like Keith Urban's music and him too I guess, even though we all know probably a lot of those songs of his are about Nicole Kidman. Just some really nice music. I listen to his Speed of Now album constantly.
I have a crush on Jared Padalecki from supernatural 😭♥️and jason Statham 😋❤️
I tried to respond to you on "I hate psychiatrists and I dont know what to do" but I am not able to post on that forum for some reason. Here is what I wanted to say:
You should take a look at the Ashton manual and read what it says about getting off a Benzo. Of course it is important to have a doctor's support, but going armed with knowledge is a big plus. I am so sorry for what you've been through. I have also experienced doctors handing out benzos like candy and being no where to be found when you recognized the harm they were doing. 🙏
