Perfectly Imperfect!

How many of you out there place constant pressure on themselves to be `PERFECT`? What does` perfect` actually mean? Some try to be someone they aren`t. Some must NEVER FAIL. Some feel they have to place EVERYONE`S NEEDS before their own etcetera etcetera. Stop for a moment and think about how we often just pressurize ourselves too much. Isn`t it far better to LET GO of that perfectionism? To ACCEPT that sometimes we will mess up?. Sometimes we just cannot do all that is expected or assumed expected of us? Sometimes we will have a rough day maybe anxious maybe depressed about some thing or other or maybe we just simply are for no known reason at all . Maybe we cannot sleep. Maybe we don`t like our looks. Maybe we think our personalities need to change ...and the list goes on. Again how so much easier just to accept some things - those things we cannot change . How better to just let go of the striving to be `perfect`. Those thoughts that maybe anxiety/depression is wrong and we should be happy every day. Is that truly even possible ?! No-one would deliberately choose to be anxious. No-one deliberately chooses to be depressed etcetera. Some days we SIMPLY ARE and that is OKAY. SELF CARE and LOVE is what is needed here. To be KIND to OURSELVES and not to run before we can walk. There will be calmer and brighter days. we just need to be PATIENT. And help is always out there if we seek it. What would you do if you became your own `best friend`? How would you treat yourself? Would you be so harsh? Would you say you need to be `perfect`(whatever that means!) or the world will fall apart!

Just something to think about today.
