Having a wrecked house with horrible father and seeing my mother gets beaten up from him makes me scared to fall in love with anyone i feel like i will be with someone like my father, it really makes me scared of this idea.

I'm sorry you had to see this sounds like this has scared your memory! It sounds like it's made you cautious of entering into a relationship in case the same thing happens to you it would be a shame that your future happiness is blighted by events out with your control! In time the right person will come a long please don't let events in your past ruin your future I wish you all the best david 🙏

I wish I can say you are wrong in what you are saying. Parents never realize how much we learn and take from them. If a father is abusive, the daughter take that as normal and will expect it from future partners hence we take whatever is available believing it to be love until the worse happens. The sons on the other hand learns and take it as normal also and become abusive towards females. So your fears are justified. I wish you had a relative who had a positive influence on you. As for your father beating up your mother, plz report him and don't feel guilty. Your mom is a victim and victims find it hard to reason after sometime thinking they are the ones at fault, so plz do it for her without her knowledge, she will thank you later.
