Hi everyone I haven’t posted in a while but I felt the need to today.
So my boyfriend is currently sick with food poisoning and it scares the crap out of me. He obviously isn’t himself, he’s tired and run down from it and I understand why, it really sucks.
But ever since my dad passed away and I had been taking on the phone with him and he sounded different because he was under the influence of some medication that he ended up overdosing on that same night, when people act unlike themselves or I feel they are, I get incredibly scared that they are going to die or somehow leave my life and I am absolutely terrified.
I know that he will be fine but I’m worried to the point of feeling like I am going to have a panic attack.
Does anyone else have this response to when things like this happen? Or any tips?

My brother who is autistic has lead poising and in the beginning of when he started having it it scared the daylights out of us he couldn’t eat without throwing up very time angry agitated super pale . We didn’t know until he did bloodwork it was scary to hear the diagnosis because Lead poisoning is very serious .
I just wanted to tell you that I understand :)I feel the same way about people I care about when you say "I get incredibly scared that they are going to die or somehow leave my life and I am absolutely terrified."
“I know that he will be fine but I’m worried to the point of feeling like I am going to have a panic attack.” I can relate and understand how you feel. When my only child was 5 months old, he had outpatient surgery and it made me very anxious. It was a minor surgery but I was scared that something bad might happen to him. Thank God it went well.
You are not alone. We are here for you so feel free to post anytime. I hope you will find comfort and encouragement here. Please keep us posted. God bless.
