Does anyone have the freeze response? It is when my body freezes up and breathing is shallow. I have it have it for over 50 years. Thanks.

Hi have you had any thearapy? if not go on line and listen to Dr Claire Weekes ,she has various books to help Anxiety-Fear Depression. phobia-- she is old school but she does describe how yhe Flight fear response works and the effect it has on our nervous system-----PM me if you want more getails.its allowing the Fear to float past you and techiques to learn.hope that helps.

I have it. I get frozen in bed for hours and sleep off the fears. At my worst, with agoraphobia I wouldn't leave my bed, wouldn't leave my room. It's a traumatic response and will need therapy, medication, spiritual practices all thrown in to help with recovery, in my opinion.
