I haven't had much / any help from meditating either.
Sometimes I'll search "Guided meditation for ..." For instance if I'm really in pain, I'll search "for pain". I try out one or two until I find one that is calming to me.
Sitting and doing the OM thing only makes me worse, but if I turn the sound up and keep busy while I listen sometimes it helps a bit.
Is "hurting" triggering your panic? If you try posting here about why you're hurting you may get some useful tips. (At the very least you should get some emotional support.) 🦜 🦜 🦜
