Today’s my Bday 😢

Not sure why, but a looming / anxious feeling has always been surrounded on the day & days leading up to my birthday. From a young kids I honest never remember being SUPER EXCITED for my birthday. Back then it was from a fear / anxiety of no other kids showing up to my party, and now as an adult I don’t have a “real reason” to be anxious but I guess the years of feeling that way is so engrained in my brain that the anxiety comes naturally now 🥺

This morning had been one of the most anxious mornings that I’ve had in awhile! But I still want to push myself to do something fun this weekend for my

Birthday.

Such conflicting feelings!!!

I'm so sorry! That's terrible you feel that way on your birthday. You should treat yourself to something extra special or unique to give a positive impression instead of a negative one. Our Brain latches onto events and what emotion they have to us.

haha had better birthdays washing broke had to flood my kitchen twice trying to fix it waited in all day expecting a call for a job and it never came but did enjoy my cake and presents.
