Nothing seems to make me happy or at least not as depressed. I have so many health problems, lots of pain, but I also have the most wonderful husband. I don't think I deserve him and I'm terrified that one day he'll get tired of me. I would if I had to live with a person who's always complaining and crying. What am I going to do if that happens?. If that's the case, I don't want to live anymore.

Sometimes I'm not as nice to him because I'm not in the mood even though I adore him and I'm terrified of losing him!

I hate myself when I am kind of nasty. He never complains... and that makes me cry.. for a change. 😪

Part of your depression may be that you are anticipating negative things before they even happen! If you are really worried about your husband leaving you, talk to him...now....Let him know what you deal with inside your head all by yourself. I bet you will be pleasantly surprised by his reaction. And if someone can leave another because they have health issues, then it wasn't meant to be in the first place. But I don't think that is your case at all.! Go talk to him!!! Hugs.

glad to see you're still posting, and seeking help... keep at it...

have you sought professional help? if i'm not confusing you with someone else, i think you have.

if you haven't found a good one, or don't like them.... find another! 50% of doctors finish in the bottom half of their class!! there are good and bad... keep looking until you find a good one that you like!

they have many resources including video classes on coping and many others - but maybe most of interest to you - they offer group sessions, which due to covid are now done via zoom - and 1 in particular, is oriented for the family members of people struggling w/ mental issues to help both of you cope!

i'd highly recommend check them out. the group session i mentioned is conducted by peer volunteers, who have been trained by nami.

and the family session i mentioned is for BOTH of you.
