So a person that I was around for a few hours tested positive for Covid yesterday. We weren’t wearing masks. I was no less than 4 feet away from him the whole time. He didn’t cough or laugh or sneeze or anything that projects water droplets. I didn’t touch anything he touched or anything like that.
I am probably fine right? I don’t feel any symptoms but I visited my parents and sisters the day after I saw him and I’m worried that I gave it to them.
I just need reassurance that I didn’t get my family sick or put them in danger.
Another thing is he is a healthcare worker so he gets tested often which is why I was around him in the first place because I knew that he gets tested and has to be careful
So please someone help reassure me

You could call your doctor to see if you could get tested in a few days. Also let the others know your situation. I tested positive several weeks ago, i was with some friends that I spent alot is time with. 2 also got sick and the other 2 showed no symptoms. Don't feel guilt. You didn't know, hope it didn't spread and be as careful as you can, thats all u can do.
Hi- I have a friend, I was with her almost the whole day on Sunday, we were talking and after 2 days I heard that she had COVID symptoms. She was sick for almost 3 weeks. She didn’t go to the doctor for testing but her son was positive. I was fine and didn’t have any symptoms.
You can call your doctor and ask if you can be tested in a few days. Praying for you for peace and protection as well as for your family. Please keep us posted.
