Can certain memories. Of trauma bring back fear and create anxiety and impending doom of the past because who ever know what im talking about y'all know the pain and fear it causes

James, those certain memories of trauma can definitely cause the same pain and fear it did at the start. Those memories are being played in your subconscious mind and your body

is reacting as if it just happened. I'm sorry you are going through this. It needs to be

re-addressed by your therapist or doctor. x

I have been struggling with intense traumatic memories as well. I have learned that it is best to step out of those memories. Don’t allow them to play because they will keep getting stronger until you’re living in the past instead of the present.

Take a deep breath, focusing on the out-breath. Clear your head and don’t let these memories in.

it's called a flashback. if you can, when you're feeling like that, see if there is a fam member or partner or sonmeone you trust wherever you're at, and ask them to give you a very firm hug and not to let go. it will help to calm the fear and help you feel safer.
