burning sensations

Hi! I'm new here and wondering: Has anyone had burning sensations in their body due to anxiety? I'm having burning sensations come and go in different parts of my body but they don't seem directly related to my anxiety level. If you have had this, is there anything that treats it or makes it better? Thank you in advance!

Is the feeling just under your skin on your arms or legs? If so, it could be the beginning of eczema, which can be an inflammatory response to anxiety and stress. I have had this, and didn't realize the burning was actually skin related because I couldn't actually see a rash or eczema on that part of my body.

Thanks Ramon. The feeling comes and goes in different areas of my body for about two months now. I don't have any rash or redness.

Would you say its more like a heat that is close to the surface of your skin, or just below it? If so, I would consider seeing a dermatologist. I started getting that earlier this year and had never had it before, and it has turned out to be an inflammatory response to stress. Sometimes when I feel the burning (around my forearms or the bend of my arm, there is no rash or redness. Just the feeling.
