It's been a while since I've posted on here, but I appreciated the replies I have received in the past that I thought I would give an update. Regarding my last posts, I have been home for the school semester and I think it was the right choice. it gave me less anxiety with covid stuff and allowed me to pursue more art opportunities, like having my own art show in October. Things have been going well. And I haven't thought about my friend who I was drifting apart from in months, which I think is a good sign considering that decision has not impacted my life to the great extent I thought it would. That was also the right decision. Now, I am finishing up the semester, I have good grades, art commissions which is a good source of income, and think things will be looking positive for the future as I will be living on campus at school with three of my best friends. The only concern I have with my life now is that I feel like my feelings are sometimes all over the place, but with covid and the election, I felt like that was normal. But I actually feel like I am in a good place now with things. Thanks to everyone who reads this post, sometimes I feel like not many people are around to listen to my rants, but this community is comforting.
All the best

Glad to hear things are improving for you. I am new to this group.. just joined today but thats very encouraging to know its helped you like it has. I hope it can do the same for me
Just wanted to say thanks for sharing the good news. Sometimes it is easy to feel like there is only bad news out there when reading everyone's posts so this was great to see! Truly glad to hear that this semester has been a successful one for you. Seems like many students had discovered whether or not they can thrive or just survive in an online learning environment. Glad yours has been a discovery of thriving. Will you get to move onto the campus in January for the new semester or are you talking about plans for next Fall?
I know what you mean. It is challenging to make any plans for next year at this point! I hope that will be a great experience for you, whenever it does work out!
