Still not myself but my husband isn't working this weekend so at my request we are staying home and watching some shows we have taped. Last night I actually laughed for the first time in a VERY long time. I had honestly forgotten the joyous feeling of laughing. Just wanted to share my little victory and thank all of you for your lovely replies yesterday. Oliver is keeping me company and says hello.

The joy of laughter

If you're curious, I laugh all the time, and people wonder Why ??

I saw a Sunset last week for the first time in 12 years
I used to laugh much more. Just have had a lot to deal with the last 4 months on top of Covid and all the nastiness of the election. I'm glad you saw the sunset. I haven't been sleeping well lately and am usually up by 4 or 5am. I like it though. Quiet, peaceful and you can still see the moon setting for several hours after sunrise. I sit on the couch and Oliver lays on the back of the couch while we watch the sun rise from the front window. Then I go to the back door and look at the moon. With Oliver and the dog following me of course.
Inky was always by my side, like in my Pro - Never left me
Oliver is precious. Wish I could have a dog or cat. Dr. Norman Cousins a famous oncologist said laughter is the best kind of therapy. I saw something on TV where in India they have groups of people who get together once a month and just
laugh 😆 together. Watching them was totally hysterical Happy 😃 that your
situation seems a little better. This is a challenging time for all of us.
I’m here 4 U hugs 🤗Shnookie
It is so good to hear that you have a supportive husband. I hope you both have a wonderful day together!💕

Oliver looks very snuggly.
I'm glad you were able to laugh. I had gone a long time without laughing. I never thought I would experience it again. It's really sad to think about a life without laughter.
May you have more good days to come ❤️
Hi Oliver, take good care of your mommy.
And Mrspjsmom enjoy your quiet evening with your husband.
Remember that "little victories" become bigger ones in time. xx
