Hi. Do they have sliding scale therapists where you live perhaps? My husband told me about these therapists. Sliding scale means according to your income level. I think they are non profit therapists. He said that they can be hard to find, but that they exist.

Thank you I’m going to look into it
I think churches offer free counselling. Are you in college? If so, they should offer these services. Even if you're out of college you might still have rights, as an alum, to their services. My husband did this for career counselling. He had to pay a small fee (alumni association) and then he was able to access all services.

I’m currently I’m college, I was just considering reaching out to one of professors to ask about it
Good thinking👍 Good luck to you!😊
What kind of insurance do U have ? If U R on Medi Cal, U can obtain a therapist and caseworker. This is free. The negative thing is that U might have to wait to get in to talk to a therapist. Also R U on any meds ?
This might be helpful to U as well
Good luck. I’m in your corner
Hugs 🤗Shnookie
I have blue cross blue shield but I’m going to have to switch soon
I understand. It’s open enrollment time.
May I ask how old U R U mentioned college without being intrusive U can be on parents’ insurance until U R 26. Also
check out your university. There R also
Interns who need hours and help U with therapy as well. Also contact NAMI
National mental health hotline U can
speak to a peer support rep 4 15
minutes and they might have
resources 4 U. There is also
SAMSA - mental health resource hotline.
I’m here 4 U hugs 🤗 Shnookie
Hi there is a website, 7cups.com, that offers free chat and online therapy at a monthly rate. 7cups.com/
I have not tried it but maybe it’s an option!
It's difficult with this pandemic going on to find someone who will even meet with you in person if you wear a mask. And a lot of the churches are taking a lot of precautions. It might be best to try to find online therapy. But don't be afraid to come on this site and talk about stuff!!! Some people on here have really helped me a lot. 🙂
