Duloxetine

Can anyone give me some feedback on Duloxetine.

I used to take Citalopram but this time it didn’t help so now on Duloxetine started on 30mg, then after a week up to 60mg now after 2 weeks up to 90mg and been on that since Tuesday... how quick should I see some improvement in my anxiety symptoms

I don’t know about that medication hunny how long did u try the citropram for when did u realise it wasn’t working

If you are on the higher dose for a month you should see some improvement if it is going to work for you. It is not an SSRI like citalopram, so hopefully it will work for you. I took it and it worked well for me for one year, then it stopped working. It is common that these meds eventually stop working and then you need to try something else. I hope it works for you.

Hi it’s still not helping in fact I feel worse.. when you came off it did you have to do it slowly as I read some really frightening things about withdrawal

Citalopam made me really unwell so stopped it after 2 weeks. Not on anything now. Having CBT starting Wednesday so fingers crossed that will work.

Sorry I don't think I can help. I gave it up as it seemed to be dulling my brain and making me put everything off. I think i had dizzy spells and side effects i didnt like.

Thank you for this. I‘be been on it for about 4 weeks but only on the higher dose for 1 week. I don’t seem to be having side effects but not sure it helping much at the moment

Hi I think I been taking 90mg for a few months but do not know if it’s helping!

I had a really bad reaction to it. Huge dilated pupils, body tremors, vomiting and heart palpitations and had to come off it right away. And that was only on 30mg. Haven’t been on any other medication since as I’ve got the fear of seratonin syndrome😭 if you feel worse than you did before I would talk to your doctor about changing meds x

I was just put on Duloxetine 60 mg and it is making me feel worse than when i was on Lexapro which i am going to go back to. Having weight gain, very teary eyes, and just not feeling good at all.
