Hi, has anyone hot any advice about getting off of duloxetine, I have got down from 60mg to 20mg gradually. I seem stuck on this as in the uk I cannot get a lower dose to taper off. I hate the withdrawal effects, I have been taking 20mg every other day and still getting the aching legs, disoriented, poor concentration and brain zaps. Is there anything alternative I can take to help with these symptoms

Withdrawal from Duloxetine
Hi I am on taking it every other day and have been for 2 weeks. I take painkillers for the leg pain on the day I don't take it and trying multi vitamins to help with the poor concentration and lethargy, I can not see a way to get off them totally if I am still getting quite bad withdrawal effects. I also take mirtazapine 45 mg at night. The only thing the doctor suggests is to taper every other day but that is all she can suggest. Last time I tried to get off I went cold turkey and ended up almost comatose, so I am trying slower. Thank you for your response.
I am also trying to withdraw from duloxetine and find that my legs are achy and tired. Did you take the duloxetine for leg pain, or is the leg achyness a side effect of the withdrawal? I have been worried about my legs as it seems like a strange withdrawal side effect. What do you think?
That makes me feel better, because I had the same weird thing and didn't want to walk either.
