panic attacks again from back pain.

I starting having panic attacks again. I had herniated my back, my leg started to atrophy and had microdiscetomy surgery 7 months ago. It went great. It took away 90% of the pain and my muscle strength cam e back,so I should be happy, but I am living in fear about having to life with the 10% pain the rest of my life. I am 46. Honestly, the pain from the back is not horribly, but I am so scared about living with pain the rest of my life or having to have another surgery. I have become hypersensitive about my back, my brain is constantly scanning my back for pain. I have had 6 knee surgeries in the past and I understand surgery can never return your pody It has been almost 2 1/2 years since my last panic attack. The ones I having now are minor compared to the ones I had 2 1/2 years ago which were major. I stopped taking my lexapro about 2 years ago. I just want to give up and stay in bed, but I know I can't because I three little kids 10,8 and 2 who depend on me. I can't let them down. They need a father. But all I can think about is the rest of my life will be deminished and I won't be able to do the things I want or live a happy life. Any advice would be appreciated.

You have had a great deal of surgery and sometimes people become hypo sensitive to the problems and operations Have a further word with your Doctor, have words about a TENS or EMS MACHINE. TENS clear pain in the joints and some act sometimes like an EMF that tones up the muscles around the area that may be sore. Be advised by your GP.

It is important you tone up the the muscles and careful us the areas affected.

I have extensive damage to joints in my body and use a duel tens to reduce pain. I also use an adapted bath and shower to help with joint pain it can help, with the heat in the water. to relax the pain in muscle and joint etc
