I go back to therapy tomorrow and some of you told me to tell my therapist about some of my post. When should I bring them up? I've spoke about hu and said how it's a good thought. Any thoughts on it?

I'm going to try therapy too and I will be going to a therapist for the first time tomorrow in 20 years

I hope the therapist works out for you please let me know if there's any type of technique for Psychotherapy she uses that helps you with your anxiety and maybe you can help me too

Glad that you may get the help that you need to stop suffering from anxiety or to at least manage it

Bring them up whenever you feel comfortable!

When I was in therapy, I always made a list on my phone beforehand because I always froze up in there and forgot every problem I ever had lol.

Good luck! 💙

I'll try to make a list. I like going to therapy but for some reason I'm nervous to go. Thanks for the help.

Llama,

What and when you talk about things in therapy is up to you. If you are not comfortable bringing up something, then don't. You absolutely do not need to bring up what we suggest either, especially if you're not comfortable with it. The whole idea is to work on what you need to so that you feel better.

I wish you luck in your sessions!

Therapy was the best decision I could have made. You just need to find the right fit. Everyone is right, you can write all your experiences maybe in a journal and write the date and time of the experiences and take your journal with you to your session. There you can write techniques your counselor gives, jot down any homework needed for your next session. keep track of your appointments. Have something all in one place.
